Erin’s* story isn’t easy to hear. It is heartbreaking and unthinkable that a young woman would face so much hardship in her life, all before she was even 21 years old.
We don’t share her story to shock you — we share it to help you understand the impact of your support. Your faithful generosity doesn’t simply change the lives of women in desperate need — in many cases, you are saving them.
At its heart, that’s the Easter message: we were dead in our sin and pain, and yet God reached out to us with mercy and love. Erin didn’t even know what God’s grace was when she came through our doors — but today she knows she is accepted and forgiven. It’s a true miracle.
