Did you know that Shepherd’s Gate has a thrift store that helps support the services we provide to needy women and children? Located in Livermore, CA, this store provides a location for the community to recycle their gently used clothing and household goods as well as e-Waste items!!
The store provides for the needs of the ministry and the women and children first, and then processes the rest to sell to the public, creating much needed recurring income for the ministry. How can you help? Next time you are cleaning house and have gently used items that could benefit others, consider donating them to our awesome thrift store. The store is located at 1362 Railroad Ave in Livermore. We also have a job opening for a special individual to join the staff at our Thrift Store.Shepherd’s Gate is a Christ-centered community and the applicant must be able to demonstrate an understanding of that value. The position requires excellent skills in customer service and the ability to problem solve and be flexible. Experience in the areas of cashiering, donations, and pick-up is a plus. Applicant must be able to lift heavy items and have a valid driver’s license.
