“For to us a child is born, to us a son is given, and the government will be on his shoulders. And he will be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.”
– Isaiah 9:6
Your generosity helps create these beautiful moments and reminds our women and children that they are seen, loved, and not alone. For many of our residents, this Christmas will be unlike any they have experienced before. It may be the first Christmas spent in a safe and welcoming home, gathered around a delicious meal with gifts waiting under the tree. It may be the first Christmas they celebrate with their children, together as a family instead of separated from one another. And for some, it may even be the first time they hear the Christmas story and begin to understand the hope found in God’s love.
There are several meaningful ways to bring hope and joy to the women and children of Shepherd’s Gate this Christmas. Explore the opportunities below and choose a way to give, bless, or participate.
If you don’t see the perfect gift below, you can always give the gift of our vital program. You can give the gift of shelter, meals, case management, childcare, afterschool program and so much more so more women and children can heal and find hope for their futures.
