This summer I’m grateful for so many things — but most of all, I’m thankful for God’s faithfulness to Carla and I this past year. We are learning to trust Him even when it’s difficult, and we are finding His strength and grace is enough to see us through each challenge we face.
We’ve also been encouraged by God’s faithfulness to all the women and children who have come to Shepherd’s Gate for help. He has been working miracles daily in their lives, and I can’t help but be in awe of God’s goodness to all of us. He truly is the HOPE of everyone on earth!
I pray that as you hear and see stories of Shepherd’s Gate families through our letters, blogs and our Facebook page, you’ll be reminded that God is at work in your story, too. Just think: your life is a testimony to others of God’s faithfulness!
