An amazing group of individuals from several local companies, spearheaded by Cooks Collision in Walnut Creek, came together to donate an amazing car to one of our SG graduates. They spent many hours rebuilding a Nissan Rogue and presented it to our graduate at a wonderful BBQ luncheon. She has two kids and was very much in need of a reliable vehicle to transport her kids, go to work, and go to the school where she is in her 3rd semester. In a thank you note to the donors, she wrote “Since coming to Shepherd’s Gate, I have changed more than I ever imagined and I’d just like to say thank you. It is because of people like you that I was able to have the opportunity to give my kids a decent life.”
