At Shepherd’s Gate, we know breaking the cycles of abuse, homelessness and addiction doesn’t happen in one day. But thanks to our ministry partners, you won’t walk through it alone. Our whole woman program addresses all aspects of recovery and helps you change your life for good! We help single women, women with children, pregnant women, senior women and women wanting to reunify with their children in child protective services. Both of our campuses provide on-site childcare and after-school programs for children.
The Short-Term Program addresses the immediate needs of a woman while she attends Life Skills class and works with her Case Manager and goals.
The Road to Freedom Program is designed to help women break free of the destructive cycles from their past and find healing and restoration. In the last phase, women will prepare for career opportunities with education, certificates, and computer skills in our Learning & Career Center.
Women who have graduated form the Road to Freedom Program, and who have obtained employment are eligible to apply for our additional 6-months transitional cottage program on both of our campuses.
It’s important that our Alumni continue their life long learning and recovery goals for themselves and their children. Our Alumni groups meet once a month on campus to support each other and be inspired by guest speakers.
