Multiple languages are available to the caller, allowing those in need to access information and obtain referrals to shelters, physical and mental health resources; housing, utility, food, and employment assistance; and suicide and crisis interventions. At Shepherd’s Gate, we know breaking the cycles of abuse, homelessness, and addiction doesn’t happen in one day. But thanks to our ministry partners, you won’t walk through it alone. Our Whole Woman program addresses all aspects of recovery and helps you change your life for good! We have additional programs to help women who are pregnant, senior women that are homeless, and women who want to reunify with their children in child protective services. We help both single women and women with children. Both of our campuses have on-site nurseries and after-school programs for children.
The Short-Term Program addresses the immediate needs of the woman and introduce her to recovery and life at Shepherd’s Gate through Life Skills and recovery classes.
The Road to Freedom Program is designed to help women break free of the destructive cycles from their past and find healing and restoration.
The Graduate Program is an additional 3 or more months, focused on equipping women for transitioning into independent living.
Women who have obtained employment, are working to establish a savings and reduce their debt are eligible for an additional 6 months in our transitional cottages on campus.
It’s important that our Alumni continue their life long learning and recovery for themselves and their children. Our Alumni groups meet once a month on campus to support each other and be inspired by guest speakers.
