We have a husband and wife that go above and beyond volunteering. Pat DiGirolmo and her husband Phil are book and music volunteers here at our thrift store. Pat cleans, sorts, prices and maintains our book section. No easy task as we get a lot of books donated and it is sometimes an overwhelming task! She also takes home greeting cards to sort and bring back and helps carry home DVD’s and CD’s for Phil. He is another rare jewel as he picks up and cleans and polishes all CD ‘s and DVD’s so we can sell them through a reseller–without him, we could not do that! These two deserve a huge round of applause as volunteer extraordinaire! Not only do they serve here, Pat at least 3 days a week, they do it with a smile and Pat has a laughter that keeps me smiling whenever she’s around! Come and volunteer and join our family here at the thrift store!
