God has used the prayers and support from friends like you to bless women and their children as they overcome abuse, addiction and homelessness. It’s amazing to see what He has done! Lives have been changed, families have been reunited, addictions have been broken. And because of partners like you, even more lives will continue to change! 

40 Years of Ministry
In 1984, Alice Ann started the Shepherd’s Gate ministry in Livermore. A small, 3-bedroom home allowed women and children safe shelter for up to 30 days. But she dreamed of a way to be able to help even more women.
Livermore Campus Opens
In May 2000, the first phase of Livermore campus opened across the street from the original house, and by 2005 a second residence hall and five graduate cottages were added. Support from partners like you made it possible to help 70 individuals at one time!
The Brentwood Campus
Because of the prayers and support from partners like you and in the community Shepherd’s Gate’s second campus opened in 2006 in Brentwood. This campus has room for XX women and children who are overcoming abuse, addiction and homelessness.
The Blessings Grow
Over the past six years, the Children’s and Alumni Program have expanded, a learning and career center has opened at both campuses, the Off-Site Case Management ministry has launched! Through your prayers and support, lives will continue to change for the next 40 years and beyond.
